Property Description
The house itself has a surface over 1.500m2 not including the barns, stables,etc. Dating from the 16c, this unique house has undergone 3 years of renovation and offers the highest standard of comfort and decoration. There are three living rooms including a 180m2 vaulted bergerie, a formal dining room, 2 kitchens plus a large eat in kitchen, a library, 2 offices for personal use. There are 6 bedrooms, the master suite with two bathrooms, 3 bedrooms with bathrooms and one suite with double bed plus smaller bedroom with twin beds sharing a bathroom. There is a separate studio that normally would be for the chef, but could be used for 2 people. There is an underground garage for 4 cars. The house is equipped with satellite TV, DVDs high speed computers,etc.
There is an outdoor kitchen with a small pool (the large pool we should be putting in over the winter). The farm buildings are quite separate and consist of the barns, garages for the farm equipment, horse boxes and paddocks and an olympic size dressage ring. There is a full time farmer who is in charge of the land, but is happy to teach guests how to prune grape vines or pick olives if they wish. There are two horses and a donkey that the farmer looks after. If a guest would like to bring their horses arrangements could be made or if a guest would like to ride our horses that would be an individual agreement.
We have a gardienne who lives on the premises and a daily cleaning lady in the mornings. (4 hrs 6 days a week)
